My Space
There's someone sitting in my arm-chair,
They've claimed it like they're never going to share,
Stretching themselves out like they just don't have a care,
It's my private space, my thinking spot,
It's not a lot but its all I've got !
The kids are jumping on the sofa - I wish they'd take their shoes off first,
Uninvited guests like these they really are the worst !
Drinking from out my starbucks mug & smacking their lips in glee,
It's actually my favourite one I use for my morning cup of tea,
Their children are very friendly but never tidy up their toys,
I keep stepping on their lego & did I mention about the noise?
They're living in my home they're even sleeping in my bed,
I'm stuggling with the thoughts that creep around inside my head,
I think it's time that I faced the truth that I just might be dead!
Stuck forever in this house where even my angels fear to tred.
