Day 21 - Prompts : Love poem and an Anti-love poem

Anti-Love poem

Has love just become another marketable product, wrapped in the shiny, plastic, packaging of a heavily, filtered photo, of the you you want to be,
Objectifing each other, based on our looks or how well we can take a perfect selfie instead of the soul behind the packet that we refuse to try to see,
Truthful, caring, love, we seem to have lost sight,
When we all sit in judgement with a swipe to the left or right,
Ghosting and hating just where is the love? how does that feel?
Does nobody want to work for something that could actually be real?
We need to be spoon fed, handed love upon a plate,
Give your love freely, don't expect it so early or too late,
For everything else is in the lap of fate not a one night stand or an online date.

Love Poem
How can they get to your heart? -Any way you choose,
Once fate, chance and destiny have all put on their shoes,
You're in their sights you cannot lose,
Loving yourself first shows your limits, for love is all you need,
For when you care enough to love nourish feed
