Stolen time poem
Waiting for traffic lights, hearts and minds to change is their fate,
Waiting for the old lady to count out her change in the queue- her eyesight not great,
The friend who steals your time like a thief because she's always late,
For the slow train to arrive -though now your tickets out of date,
Breathe in the now a heightened state,
Out with the love and in with the hate!
These moments and people that steal your precious time,
Pickpocketing your minutes and hours and never paying for their crime,
