The green eyed monster moves and moans,
Angry, annoyed, gossipy, groans,
How dare you get the good stuff that you got,
For when the tough got going they were off like a shot,
Lounging, lazy, lizard-like basquing in the sun,
Never making the effort unless for them it was fun,
They only want what you have worked so hard for,
Skulking around saying how they deserved it more,
Vicious, viper, vengeful tongue cuts you down with a flame,
Resenting every moment of you as they really just want the same,
Speaking badly in whispered, conspirational tones, behind your back, who they say you are and what you are about,
Leaving behind a scorched pathway to those green eyes that will consume them from the inside out,
