Complete set
She laid the cards as they came,
Not following suit, not at all the same,
We continued to play patience, though no-one had won nor given up yet,
Waiting around for that Ace of spades to complete the set,
Patience, poker, Old Maid, rummy, make some space,
As in life, hope for the best with each card we place,
A sequence, some order, we hope to have found,
As all those cards get dealt all around,
You never know which cards you will get,
Until you lay them down to complete your set,
Now the cards are stacked in your favour,
Easy living, a flow you can savour,
